Hamster Safe Foods

I had a sheet earlier with all the best safe foods for hammies, but for some reason I misplaced it. So I was wondering if these foods were safe for hammies to eat, and in what proportions?


Edamame
Bell Pepper


Also anything else that is safe besides stuff like carrots, spinach, romaine lettuce, egg, nuts, raisins.

Both of those are fine, as with all veg just a small, say thumbnail size, piece.

Thanks Cypher! By any chance, do you know if Edamame (is that how you spell it?) is okay to be given in the shell/pod/husk/whatever it's called?

Pinkneon you are thinking of Edam cheese. Edamame beans are a type of soya bean. I would have thought the shell was a bit thick and the shelled beans would be best. But just a guess.

It does sound a bit like cheese lol!
They are just green soya beans, I haven't used them so not sure of the best way, raw or cooked, Lizzy has given them to Harvey so she should know if she sees this when she's on again.

Pak Choi, Baby Corn, Mange Tout, Sugar Snap Peas, Sweetcorn, Courgette, Strawberries, Blueberries, Cucumber, Apple, Banana, French beans, Cooked Chicken, Duck, Guinea Fowl,
Oh and Cheese she likes nothing more than cheese
Pip loves all of the above

Most of those are on the list Rads, I doubt many hams get gourmet meals like guinea fowl though!
