Smile Bird feed

Im going to make some homemade small animal treats and it included seeds so i just wondered if getting a bag of bird seeds to feed hamsters is suitable?

It can be safe, but you have to make sure the actual ingredients are hamster safe.Artificial preservatives, dyes, salt, artificial flavors, honey and other added sugars, etc should be avoided no matter what though

If it's just plain bird seed with no oyster shell grit it should be ok, seed meant for wild birds is often fine, budgie seed usually has grit & seed meant for parrots can be harmful sometimes so check the ingredients carefully.
