Default Watery food?

I'm hoping to take Sweep to the Bath show next weekend. However everytime he goes on a journey in his carrier he ignores the cucumber. I'm not sure he likes it much and as he will be in his carrier most of the day I need to give him something for water. Any ideas what?

My Chinese don't like cucumber either but they love courgette, preferably cooked by their slave but they can have it raw too so that might be worth a try.

Ok thanks. We never have them in the house as no one eats them - can you buy them already prepared?

Peppers have a high water content if you wanted to use those instead.

Great thanks! He does like his green pepper and then I can use some for dinner and for lunch for Saturday!
Can I take a water bottle with me too, for when we get there?

You could take his water bottle to use there but I would also take a small bottle of the water he is used to drinking rather than risk filling it with water there. Or just wrap his water bottle in clingfilm including the spout and unwrap it there.

It's absolutely fine to use water bottles in the pet class so all you'll need to do is find a water source that he likes for the journey.

I find that the tap water in Bath isn't exactly the nicest (I live a few miles outside of Bath so our water isn't too bad at home but I work in the city centre where it's awful). It might be worth doing as Coco suggested and bring some of the water he's used to so that you'll know he's happy to drink it.
