Default Re: what insects?

LOL do wild hamsters have the heads of insects pinched or crushed for them? I used to have a special cricket bin for my Dwarf Hamsters so they could use their in born insticts on hunting a live cricket down and not once did any get bit or hurt in any way. However when I would bring out the Cricket bin every one of my dwarf hamsters would run to the door of their cages to be let out in the cricket bin.

With Meal worms I would buy the normal size Meal worms, and place 2 or 3 in a jar lid and they would happily go and munch up the Meal Worms and always chomped their heads first before gobbling up the bunch of them.
