Re: Pets at Home nuggets vs Supreme Selective
Holland and Barrett is a short walk away, think I'm just going to research mix ingredients online and make up a little tuperware with the SS food +seeds and flaked whatever. That way she'll have variety of a mixed food, but without the peanuts. The SS food should give her mostly what she needs but also she won't be missing out on stuff like rye flakes and buckwheat and seeds..
Flaked peas seems to be a common muesli food. Can I just feed her some actual peas?

Re: Pets at Home nuggets vs Supreme Selective
Sounds like a good idea, you will need some info on nutrients though, you don't have to be too precise about it (unless you're like me lol!) but you don't want to unbalance things too much.
You can get a good range of loose ingredients from ratrations.
Peas are fine but from what I've read they digest flaked peas better than fresh, fresh as one of her veg would be ok now & then, once she gets used to fresh veg it's best to give a good variety.

Re: Pets at Home nuggets vs Supreme Selective
I use the SS biscuits for Mocho. I leave one or two in his Sputnik 2/3 times a week. He always takes them. The smell is ok for me and a hammie cannot fail to know they are there!
