Unhappy Is Peanut water bottle to high ?

Hello everyone

So I got a 40 gallon tank for my Syrian hamster Peanut ( we call her huri ur, it's a Hungarian thing ) I got a water bottle and water bottle holder form Petco
Peanut used this in her previous 20 gallon tank.
I set up her 40 gallon tank on October 14 Friday.
I noticed she didn't drink much and since she's in my room I haven't heard her drink ( I live part time with my dad , where peanut is and part time with my mom ) I haven't heard her drink on any nights when I was at my Dads ( peanut mighta drank when I wasn't there but idk ) and since I go to school I don't know if she drinks during the day or not. I haven't seen the water level go down much ( barely at all ) so I'm a little concerned for my baby ! I'll post a pic about the hight of the bottle holder. The holder can't go down anymore so I'm worried she's not hydrated. My dads says I shouldn't worry, Peanut knows how to find water even if it's a little high . So I need you guys to tell me if its to tall
I have a wood bendie bridge I could make a ramp for her to get up to the holder but I did this and peanut was confused what it was for
I have been giving her cucumber to drink !
So tell me Should I be concerned
If it's too high I could get Velcro ? And stick the bottle on
Please I need your guys help I really appreciate it
Thanks in advance

It's hard to tell from the photo, it doesn't look that high, you could try the bendy bridge & Peanut won't have any trouble using it to get to the bottle if she needs to but don't make the bridge to high as it can be as uncomfortable for them to drink from a bottle spout that's too low (which is might be with the bridge) as one that's too high.
She probably drinks mostly at night so you don't see her, they don't drink much & if she eats cucumber she will drink even less.

It looks ok to me. Peanut could also stand up on her back legs and reach the bottle. Every day you could run your finger over the end of the spout to check the water is coming out ok.

Placing a sanitised rock underneath the bottle could help her reach it if she's struggling, as well as grind down her claws in the process. Hamsters can stand on their back legs quite well so I'm sure that she can reach it, even if it's high.

Hey guys
Ok thanks so much for the answers.
I will try some methods out
I was at my dads last night
I didn't hear her drink ( I usually wake up when she drinks, the ball in the bottle spout is noisy)

Thanks a gain

Also I'm just wondering how do u sanitize rocks / sticks ?

You can boil rocks and wood. You can also freeze the wood or bake the wood.

Boil in hot water and then cool the rock ?

Yes,that will work. With wood,be careful that the wood is a hamster safe wood and doesn't contain any chemicals or pesticides as that can be a problem mostly with wood collected from outdoors. If the wood has potentially been treated with pesticides or comes from near a road where it would be in contact with lots of hazardous fumes, just don't use it
