Default Re: Fun human foods to give your hamsters?

Cheese! Our hamster will eat most types, but I usually give cheddar. Good for protein too.
Porridge - cooked - on a teaspoon after cooled (got the tip on here
Scrambled egg - a bit on a teaspoon
Half a brazil nut - good for protein
Half a pecan nut
Half a walnut
Monkey nut in shell
Plain cooked chicken, beef, pheasant, grouse - any meat really except for things like ham and bacon which are salty and have preservatives in.
Dandelion roots (from Zooplus)
Broccoli
Carrot,
Baby corn (a small slice of one)
A quarter of a sprout (as in sprouts you have at Christmas)
Cauliflower
Green beans
Fresh coconut (I buy the packs of small pieces in the supermarket)
Banana
Apple

Veg I usually give raw, but if we've had it cooked (ie just boiled) I'll save him a piece of cooked.
