It should be fine as long as there is protein supplementation like broccoli, chicken, tofu, mealworms, turkey, etc. With any food just maintain moderation, and I would also suggest if you can't cook chicken often a good alternate to cooked chicken in the US is PureBites which are just pieces of freeze dried chicken.

Charlie is definitely a meat eater lol! He loves a bit of chicken - I think most of them do. He's also had pheasant and grouse! I know that sounds a bit 'gourmet' but they sell them in our local butchers at certain times of the year and they're cheaper than chicken. Just plain cooked though, no sauces or gravies. We have a roast chicken about every two weeks so he gets a bit of the breast from that. Freeze dried chicken sounds like a good option.

I know some people aren't into eating meat themselves,so for those who don't eat meat often or at all the freeze dried chicken is great and so is tofu and broccoli and if there are any other vegetables or vegetable based things that are higher in protein, that's also a good idea to feed as long as they or the ingredients are safe

But then I don't know if they're required to do that on US products. It does say it's a family company - might be worth phoning or emailing them and ask them if it's totally nut free!
I am only allergic to peanuts but I am completely fine with all other nuts, I haven't had any issues with the Oxbow so I might stay with that and add more protein into their diet some other way
