Suggested Treats?
No one is home yet, but that doesn't mean that I can't plan ahead. Since the Hams that are (EVENTUALLY) coming home are a mix of one dwarf, and an as yet undetermined number of Syrians, I was checking out some of Exotic Nutrition's offerings, while trying to decide on a diet for an indeterminate number of young Syrians and one seriously health challenged dwarf. (He wobbles out like a little balding drunk man and greets me every day I visit. I refuse to give up on him.)
Millet I've heard is good, red or yellow variety.
Thistle seed, no one has been able to answer on I think, and the stuff isn't prickly but I do want to be careful.
I'm curious if anyone's tried clover or calendula flowers, Hibiscus flowers or Rose hips? I haven't been able to find a really solid list of toxic herbs, other than anything from the onion family.

Re: Suggested Treats?
I've found rose hips to be considered safe from most resources when I did look before, and thistle should be safe too.Clover might be safe, but not too sure on that. There are different varieties of clover and I'm not sure if some are unsafe or not

Re: Suggested Treats?
Any kind of millet is good, I give various thistle seeds, milk thistle has quite strong therapeutic properties so while good for liver problems should only be given in small amounts to healthy hams, other thistle seeds are good too & no the seeds aren't prickly just the plant!
Clover plant & seed is good, calendula flowers are nice to give to, mine seem to quite like them, hibiscus has generally been ignored by mine but is safe, I give rose hip seeds, just a few now & then.
If you scroll down a bit there's a list of herbs, flowers etc here that might be helpful.

Ooh that is good, better if I could read and write german, but hopefully my translator didn't butcher it too badly.
