So it looks like I have two types of hamster food to choose from, both with roughly the same percentages.
Protein is 12.3% (or more, is what it says), fat is 7.7%, and fiber is 12%. There's also data for ash, moisture, and calories, but idk how important those are.
If I give my hamster oatmeal a couple times a week and regular vegetables with occasional egg or chicken do you think that will be okay?

The protein would need topping up but the other levels are ok so with some additional mealworms, a little chicken once or twice a week & or tofu now & then you should be ok.
I saw in your other thread you're thinking of getting a Russian so it would be worth checking the ingredients as well as the G/A to see if it contains fruit or sugars which they shouldn't really have.
The small split red lentils are ok raw but only a tiny bit, it can be hard for them to digest much & pulses generally are more suited to syrians I think.
I wouldn't give kibble as a regular part of the diet, check the ingredients but some of the better quality ones are ok as an occasional treat.

Re: Protein and Fiber Supplements
Okay, that's good. I actually took pictures of labels (since I kept forgetting to write down the percentages to share on here) so I have the ingredients list available. There are apricot, banana, and almonds in it but they're the last ingredients on the list. Carrots, peanuts, walnuts, and pumpkin seeds are in the middle. There are also safflower and raisins. Sunflower seeds and cornflakes are the first things after the pellets. Is any of that problematic? What's G/A?

Re: Protein and Fiber Supplements
Apricots, banana & raisins even carrot is a lot of sugar, too much imo especially for a Russian.

Re: Protein and Fiber Supplements
Even if they're in small amounts?
The same brand had different formulas. I'll check what the other options are.
