You just get the average. For example, if one mix had 14% protein and the other 22% protein, you get the average of that, which is 18. This only applies if you mix 50/50 though, it'd be more complicated if you added others in. I've just done a subject in college where I had to calculate the amount of feed for different animals and choose what food to feed and why and how they fit their appetite requirements etc.. was really difficult but it's made things easier now haha
