Re: What treat to give?
Kiwi fruit is too acidic for them, their digestive system really isn't able to handle acidic foods so it should be a rare treat only, not a regular supplement.
Almonds meant for human consumption are fine but never in the shell.
Hamshak all the veg on that list are fine for a syrian, I marked the ones that should only rarely be given to dwarfs but syrians are fine with the sweeter veg, all are better with a wider variety of veg for more vitamins & minerals once they've got used to them though.

Re: What treat to give?
Carrot is ok for a Syrian. I was just warning people with dwarf hamsters. As most people think of vegetables as good for hamsters.

Re: What treat to give?
We snacked on some carrot tonight, it was a huge hit with Bulma and with the mice, who i had not yet given carrot before so I gave them some before I did Bulma, making sure to wash my hands in between. Bulma was not quite sure until she took the first bite, then it was love. I'm including a couple pictures of my mice Erza and Juvia as well as some Bulma pictures- yes Erza is a bit chunky, we're working on that.

Re: What treat to give?
My first piece of carrot photos. Cute. I wanted mice when I was a child but my mum is scared of them so wasn't allowed. Something about the tail creeps her out. I wasn't allowed a gerbil either. That's why I got a hamster.

My whole family thinks I am insane because of our little zoo. They think they mice are the weirdest of our pets aside from the crabs. Luckily my SO is accepting although their tails bother him too.

Re: What treat to give?
Are your crabs marine or tropical. I have a tropical tank and would like some crabs to put in it.
People used to say I had a zoo because I had lots of pets.

Tropical, red claw crabs. Semi aquatic so we have a low filled tank with sand, a beach part, some above water perches, and a hidey hut for them.

Re: What treat to give?
Cool. I can't have that kind of crab then as my tank is full of water. My angel fish are really big now and need a deep tank. I don't think they will grow any bigger luckily.
