Re: Is this the same food??
The second link is the old packaging. They repackaged it recently and called it Tiny Friends Harry Hamster. I'd go for the advert with the new packaging - it might be fresher!

Re: Is this the same food??
Though saying that ... I might have to order the one in the older packaging as it's the only one I can order 1 bag of, rather than 6!

You should be able to get Harry Hamster most places - I think viovet sell it too.

Re: Is this the same food??
Ah cool I'll take a look now thanks. We used to get it in our local Sainsbury's, but I checked there today and they don't do it anymore! The only small-animal pet food they did was for rabbits! Mind you, it's not a massive store *goes to check website*
Whilst we're on the subject of food ... Which dog biscuits should I get? I used to have the white ones, but they never ate them! Have bought loads of wood chews and toys too, but I know they like them for a treat ... So does my brother actually!

Re: Is this the same food??
Thanks. Is great to be back ... Was wondering, is food that says "hamster, gerbil and mouse food" ok to use? I wasn't sure if it actually had the right nutrients etc if it's for more than one animal. Don't really know much about mice and gerbils but I thought they're nutritional need were slightly different which would mean that it couldn't actually be suitable for all of them?
Not even sure this paragraph actually makes any sense ...! Only asking because if it was fine to use then it would be easier to get it from a local supermarket? - and slightly cheaper, especially as I wouldn't have to pay postage costs!

Re: Is this the same food??
I never trust anything that says it's for more than one species as they do all have very different requirements, if in doubt always check the ingredients & G/A before buying anything.
With the Harry Hamster food it may just be that one of the sellers hasn't bothered to update the image on the website rather than it being old food.
ETA the best dog biscuits are the Biscrok ones, they can be a bit hard to get hold of but Zooplus have them.
Have you tried Whimzees aka Antos dog chews?
