Getting a bit OT from the OP here but there are quite a few herbs you can give them & raspberry leaf is fine in small amounts, plantain has always been a favourite with mine, I buy quite a lot of different things from ratrations, but if in doubt I would always check carefully first, there are some things in that carousel mix I have no idea about regarding safety for hams, what's fine for other rodents isn't always safe for hams.

lucycaitlin I would agree with Cypher that some of the additions are not suitable for hamsters. Leek, lemongrass and a few other things I already noticed.
Hamsters have very specific needs and are often less tolerant than other rodents of certain substances.
It's important to remember that things that are good for humans and have certain effects in humans are not always suitable for hamsters or have a totally different effect.

Hi folk,
Thanks for the heads up on this, I used to feed my hammies on this,
but my last one was 8 years ago and I know advice keeps changing on
food stuff for everyone.
I'll take these things out of diet and recheck again.
I use Tea Tree oil cream on all my pets for any small cuts, bites that don't
need Vet. Is this still ok for Grayling?
