How much do you feed them? Is a pinch or two a day good?

I don't know what that is but can you buy just a bag of plain oats with nothing added? That would be what you're looking for & probably a lot cheaper too!

Basically yes! The more you feed the more they sell
Lots of things are sold as safe treats for hams but that doesn't mean the treats or the recommended amount are healthy.

I feed my hams every three days (enough food to last!) and they get a good pinch each time

How much do you feed her (the regular food mix) a day? Is a tablespoon enough? I feed scarlet every day.

Here is a pic of the front of the package. You might have seen it at walmart or something. The salt is only 35 for 28grams.

Like I say I feed every three days and give my Syrian about a tablespoon of his base mix each time, but I do add lots of extra things to it too.

That product isn't available in the UK so I am not familar with it. If they're just totally plain nuts then they're ok. But not if they're sweetened, salted or have any kind of flavouring on.

Is 35 salt too much? For 28grams which is the serving size.

Please don't give your ham that or any food with added salt, I checked the ingredients & that does have salt, you can just buy plain nuts either in the shell (except almonds) or ready shelled & give those, only as an occasional treat though.
If you want to give your ham any human foods always check the ingredients & don't give things with added sugar, salt, spices or anything else you're not totally sure about.
I know you love your ham & want to spoil her a little, we all do but she'll really appreciate nice healthy hamster foods & really doesn't need any sugary or salty extras.
You can always refer back to the wiki page (link top left) if you want to check out healthy foods.

You said you give them extras. Like what kinds of extras? And how much of her base food do you give?
