What sort of cabbage? Just break a leaf of a ball of it?
I've read not to feed iceburg lettuce? Which lettuce is ok?
And do I need to peel the skin of the grapes or can they eat the skin?
hi, i am no expert but re: lettuce, i thinkit can cause problems for wee hammies, liver i think, i would imagine avoiding any type of lettuce would be the safest option for your hammie. i give mine grapes but tiny bit, i leave the skin on but make sure they have been washed and cut them into little pieces. again, i am not sure about cabbage, i would imagine small pieces and not too often. i give broccoli to my hammies and also mine enjoy blueberry, carrot and a tiny bit cheese. i stick mainly to the carrot and broccoli tho.
Hiya - i give hamsters grapes, the seedless variety and i leave the skin on.
I haven't given cabbage or lettuce - not sure about these.....
But cucumber, apple, broccoli, carrot all go down just fine

Re: Cabbage Grapes and Lettuce
We have fed all these but only in teeny bits. A bit the size of a fingernail is fine. Use the leafy green lettuce, red or white cabbage and a small half grape. One at a time and a little bit is best. Ours love broccolli
