Post Salted sunflower seeds?

Hi,

I looked everywhere for just a regular bag of un-salted sunflower seeds (either Spitz or in bulk) and seriously there are NONE! So I bought salted and I'm wondering if it's ok to feed to my hamster just like that? Or should I rinse the salt off with water? I'm just not sure.

Thanks.

I got these sunflower seeds from Amazon, and they sell bags of 1kg right through to 10kg, With it being a pet company I'm pretty sure they're unsalted and I would recommend them if you're in the UK, they arrived super quick & I use them daily.

Just look for sunflower seeds (preferably in the shell) sold as bird food & never feed your ham salted anything!

Be careful how many sunflower seed you feed your hamster they're really fattening there's plenty of other healthy treats hamsters can eat x

Sunflower seeds (natural) are sold in all good pet shops usually pre-weighed in 1kg bags for around £1.00. Black sunflower seeds are the ones mainly found in hamster mixes and they can be purchased like this. Health food stores sell shelled/de husked sunflower seeds too, as do supermarkets in their health food sections. Never feed salted. x
