I would love to make my own "mix" for my hamster but have no idea where to start?? Recipes and suggestion would be appreciated....

I wouldn't advise it tbh, it's really not as simple as it sounds getting all the nutrients at the right level can be quite difficult & complex!
There's a recipe here (you need to scroll down a bit to find it) that might give you an idea if you do want to give it a try, it's in German so you may need google translate.

I would start with a commercial mix for the base, just to be safe. Maybe use a mix that has that has those all in one pellets or something, and add bits and pieces to it?
