Blackcurrants...?

Can hammies eat blackcurrants? Sorry I know it's probably on a list somewhere but I couldn't see!

My sister bought some today and is hoping Smokey can have one - I don't think she would have bothered buying them for me, if she didn't think Smokey could share them!

I was worried they might be a bit acidic and there's all the little seeds in...actually I don't know whether I want to eat them, just tired one and it's really tart!

Yes, blackcurrants are fine. Personally I really like their tart flavour, fresh or dried, even when I was really young. I was a weird kid

Not too many though; in spite of the acidity they are still quite sweet!

Oh well the blackcurrant didn't meet with Smokey's approval! I tried offering it several times, she had a sniff on each occasion and then turned her face away very quickly, as though she didn't like the smell!
