Mushrooms?
Was just wondering would it be safe to give a hamster a little piece of mushroom? I notice that wild mice eat mushrooms but I'm not very sure about hamsters. I have never tried it just in case but I love mushrooms so maybe the hams would too!

My guys get button mushrooms when ever I feel like it and some dry up and others are eaten. I wouldn't give them mushrooms from the woods... but supermarket ones suitable for human consumption should be okay

I would never give Nelson the woodland ones, just wanted to know if they were safe to give them from the shops. Thanks for the advice, Babyboos, I'm off to buy some right now!

The woodland ones may be more nutritious but I would just be worried I gave a poisonous one, or a magic one
