Is the peach tree safe?
Hello, this is after a long time of submission.
I'm not good at English, so I'm using the Google Translator to post.
I'm sorry if the words are wrong.
Now for the main subject.
I give my hamsters a commercially available bite, is the peach tree safe?
In Japan, several types of biting trees are sold for hamsters.
Apples, mulberries, papayas, peaches, etc.
My hamster especially likes peach trees.
He enjoy bites it off, but sometimes he feels like eating bark.
Then I suddenly became worried.
I heard that peach fruits should not be given to hamsters.
So is the peach tree alright?
I couldn't find any detailed information on the subject in Japanese books or websites.
Please let me know.

Re: Is the peach tree safe?
I go by the list here: Woods, Tree Branches & Twigs | eGerbil , which shows woods from the genus prunus (stone fruit trees) to be unsafe. As peaches have stones I would assume the wood is possibly unsafe too.
Apple and mulberry wood is safe. I can't find any information on papaya wood. Personally I'd stick to apple and mulberry in the future.

Re: Is the peach tree safe?
Thank you.
Using your answer as a hint, I once again searched for information in English.
After all, peaches are often not recommended.
I stop using peach trees.
