Dwarf hamster mix ideas
Hi my dwarf hamster is currently being fed Burgess Supa Dwarf Hamster Harvest and Harry Hamster. My hamster has tried P&H muesli and P&H hamster nuggets but didn't like either.
Mr hamster doesn't really like Harry Hamster mix, he leaves most of the bigger pieces, peas, corn, pellets. He loves the Burgess Supa Dwarf Hamster Harvest and will finish it all.
The bag of Harry Hamster is nearly finished and I'm not keen on replacing it given Mr Hamster doesn't really eat it.
Can you suggest something else to try? Wagg hamster mix? Supermarket own brand mix?
Thanks

Re: Dwarf hamster mix ideas
I feed my hams Wagg. I tried them on tesco hamster muesli but they didnt like it and when I put Wagg in the cage. Thye come straight out and start digging in the bowl to get what they like. I did seperate some and put in an eggbox to see what the robo favoured, but the next morning, I looked and one of he egg pots was empty and I had forgotten what was in it. lol They are not too keen on P@H mix either.

Re: Dwarf hamster mix ideas
We use a mix of harry hamster, jr farm dwarf, jr farm hamster and burgess dwarf for most hams, the rest are on science selective. All five work for us so I'd suggest one of the jr farm mixes or science selective

Re: Dwarf hamster mix ideas
I found my dwarfs really don't like some of the mixes with really big bits in so I use the burgess dwarf hamster harvest as well as JR farms feast for dwarf hamsters & silvers mix at ratrations.
