Re: Whimzee's?
I think it's hilarious watching them carrying the crocodiles around, but the toothbrushes are easier I think.

Re: Whimzee's?
My girl is similar to your Margo, NiceCrocs. If I give her a Whimzee and her favorite treat at the same time, she'll start attacking the Whimzee before she even bothers to give the treat a sniff.
At first I gave her the smaller ones, but she would take them into her nest and devour them in a day. Because of this, I now give her the larger ones. The larger size is more difficult for her to move into her nest, making it easier for me to monitor how much she's chewing/eating, and I can take it away for a few days if it looks like she's going overboard.
I also find that it takes her longer to get through the toothbrushes than the alligators. She'll flip a large alligator on its back, and start chewing from the edges with ease. The shape of the toothbrush seems to be a bit more challenging.
In contrast, the only thing my previous girl would chew on was a small alligator - she wouldn't touch a toothbrush, or any other type of chew, and she hid from the large alligator (apparently it was very scary alligator.) I gave her a small alligator every week or two. I'd recommend starting with the small alligator, and then try the other shapes/sizes based on how much or little your hamsters like that.

That's a great idea, I'll have to try it. I think my sister has some large toothbrushes for her dog, I'll steal one and see what Margo thinks

Re: Whimzee's?
I got mine from CPC and they were really great - told me if the hams didn't like a flavour I could bring it back and exchange. I also bought a big bag too of the toothbrushes. Honestly, I like them a lot, and the hams chew them way more than anything else. All of them have various wood chews in their tanks (the boys have two antler pieces, a barbell, two orange wedges... and they only chew on whimzees) so I love them.

Re: Whimzee's?
Sally the Syrian used to love these, and my robo boys both really enjoy them too. Green has definitely been a favourite colour, then the red one... the tan coloured ones never seem to go down as well so I don't bother buying those anymore.
They get one small alligator a month at most because a bit of variety in their treats is good, and they'd all just munch on the alligators given the chance.
Yeah... those are the same thing that P@H have.

Are antler pieces okay? I was considering getting some ('oh those would look amazing in a natural theme tank!') but I wasn't sure about them.

Re: Whimzee's?
Yeah, rodents in the wild chew on them a lot. They're high in calcium. I bought them because Caramel kept chewing on my nails, so I figured he might want more calcium. But they never really touched them.
