Default Hasn't eaten his food...

I gave Charlie his food (1tblspn) at the usual time last night (when he wakes at 7pm) but when I got up this morning at 8 his food bowl was still full!

thats not really like Charlie...
I cleaned out his nest last night too of stashed food; there wasNT lot hes not much of a stasher.. so I know he hasnt been nibbling his stores over night...

I gave him half a milk bone (for his teeth) and a monkey nut.. he's about 8 weeks old (9wks max)... but other than that he doesnt appear to have eaten a lot.
he seems well in himself outside of this though... active and inquisitive..
should I be worried he didnt eat? he's so little under all his fluff...

How long have you had him? When I brought my female syrian home, she was a bit hit and miss with her food while she was settling in - she has a great appetite now though!

If he is still bright and active, I would just keep an eye on things for the moment. Maybe cleaning his nest out affected him slightly? My youngest robo took very badly to me cleaning out her nest for the first time. She acted very strangely for a few days afterwards.

I don't know if weather can affect a hamsters appetite like it can with dogs but it's been very warm and stuffy where I am (in between the crazy thunder, lightening and torrential rain ).

Maybe he is eating storage in his cheeks? my hamster decided to not eat for 2 days and then went back to normal, really odd! But if you are worried, try to feed him some sunflower seeds and treats so you know he is at least eating something, I hope all is well soon

hes been home around 4 days and this is the first day he hasnt eaten.
however I got home from college and discovered he had eaten some of his food and relocated his nest :/ I guess he really didnt take too kindly to having his nest partially cleaned ... even though I was really careful not to disturb him too badly by leaving a good amount of his bedding in there.

Glad he's eaten something now

They really are weird little creatures! Mine never went back in her house after I cleaned the nest - she ended up living in a cardboard tube for a few days before moving again to underneath her flying saucer
