Re: Wagg or harry hamster
I'd definetly say harry hamster. From every review I've read Wagg isn't the best quality and very few find its best for their hamster.

Re: Wagg or harry hamster
Just to say, I have tried Wagg. It was pretty bad quality, I would stick with Harry

Re: Wagg or harry hamster
Harry Hamster definitely. It has the ideal nutritional analysis, good high quality ingredients, and free from added sugar and rubbish.
Wagg in comparison is poorer in quality, has added sugars and isn't great all-round.

Re: Wagg or harry hamster
I have had wagg in the past (just got rid of it last week actually! Haha) and I found that it didn't had very much variety in it and a very low protein % (which is why i added mealworm). I only used it for a month while my dwarfs were changing to my mix as they had wagg in the shop.
Harry Hamster would be the best choice in my opinion. Just based on the %s and experience i have had with wagg has put me off it.

Re: Wagg or harry hamster
Definitely Harry, it's the only food approved by the nhc, and also it's a complete food - so you don't actually need to give extra treats/snacks, whereas you have to add to Wagg otherwise your ham wouldn't get all needed nutrients.

Re: Wagg or harry hamster
Have you tried any of the two mixes that Burgess make? The dwarf mix has added canary seed and the Syrian version is fine for robos as well. Tesco also do a hamster food (not the value one) and it seems to have similar ingredients as Harry Hamster. You would need to google it to see what it consists of though to compare ingredients and analysis.
I was never a fan of Harry Hamster personally. If you compare it`s ingredients, these can usually be found in other hamster foods as well because they all seem to conform to much the same principles.
Corn, flaked maize, peas/pea flakes, extruded biscuits, grass pellets, peanuts, sunflower seeds and wheat flakes. Some will have toasted oat flakes or soya flakes or whole wheat. Some will have very little in the way of variety. The Burgess Supahamster Harvest has more in it. x

Re: Wagg or harry hamster
I've used both and Wagg was good because the hamsters loved it, ate all of it, though apparently Harry Hamster is better for the hamsters, also has more of a variety of foods in there. Problem is my hamsters don't like the dark thin and thick pellet things and refuse to eat them so their bowl is always full of them.
