Bird seed??

I wanted to add some bits to my hammies harry hamster. Just to give them a bit more variety and make life a bit more interesting for them. I've seen that some people add bird feed to their hams food. Is this one safe for my Syrians?
Ingredients:
Wheat, red Dari, split maize, sunflower seeds, millet, split peas.

I've also bought some science selective pellets to add in and some pumpkin seeds. What else do you guys add to your hams mix?

The foods I'm using at the moment already have quite a bit of millet in so I just give them an odd millet spray every so often as I get them for my cockatiel.
In the past I've just added basic budgie seed

I like to add a bit of bird seed to my hammy mixes. Especially as the are on Burgess SupaHamster, and every bag seems to be different. My current bag of Dwarf seems to be nothing but peas, pellets and millet! There's hardly any sunflower, flakes or mealworms in it. :/ Not very impressed.

I give them a small amount (less than half a teaspoon) of Walter Harrisons Premier Wildbird mix, but I've used Foreign Finch or budgie seed before.

That mix you're mentioned looks to be fine. Don't give them much though as you don't want to upset the nutritional balance of their daily food.
