Default Walnuts?

hello,

I read somewhere that hamsters can eat walnuts - should they be taken out of the shell? Or can I give it to my syrian in the shell (but cracked a little so she has a head start)?

Yes it's fine for your little hammie to eat walnuts, if you crack them slightly then he/she can have a fun time trying to get to the nut inside, when your little ham scratches and bites away at the outside it will help at keeping their claws and teeth neat and tidy!
