Adding to mixes
Just wondering if anyone here adds anything in particular to their basic mixes, and if so, what?
My hams now have Harry Hamster with extra mealworms, cat biscuit, banana chips and budgie seed mixed in, but I'm considering adding dried cranberry or hazelnut.

Re: Adding to mixes
I add veggies and fruit on specific days, i add some cooked chicken on other days. I permanently have added mealworms (only for my dwarfs), dried pasta and some cereal that is like cheerios but no where near as sugary. On Saturdays, i don't give them as much muesli and make up a little salad that includes fruit and veg, fish and boiled egg.

Re: Adding to mixes
I add in a lot of stuff from rat rations. Harry hamster is their base mix and I add stuff like linseed, hemp seed, parsnip flakes, banana chips etc for my Syrian. My Chinesey and Robo only have sugar free stuff added. I know robo's aren't diabetes prone but it's easier for me that way
