It's a cold, dark day here in Michigan, and I really needed something to do to kill some time. So, I decided to try my hand at making some treats for my hams, because humans shouldn't get
all the goodies right?
I did some research and ended up taking leftover pellets from their staple diet, and adding some oats, apple shreds, and a
super tiny amount of peanut butter to some hot water and mashing it all together. I drained the leftover water and made some small balls out of the mixture. Then I put them in a muffin tin and set the oven to 300 degrees (f) for 8 minutes. I let them sit and then put them in the fridge. So far, the hams absolutely LOVE them! It's going to be a once-every-couple-of-weeks thing, but I'm thrilled it worked out
