Re: Treat Recipes
If you're hamster isn't diabetic or diabetic prone (typically chinese, hybrids, some lines of winter white hamsters) this is a good treat:
You will need:
A bit of banana, however much you want.
And some porrdige oats.
1.Mash up your banana with a fork or any other untensil.
2. (This is where it gets messy! ) Cover the banana in porridge oats completly or just partially!
3. Serve or freeze in the fridge
Hope your hams enjoy as mine did

Re: Treat Recipes
I did something similar to the banana treat idea. I cut the banana into thick-ish whole slices, then spread a thin layer of peanut butter on each side. Then I pressed each side onto some dried mealworms and squished them down a bit so they stuck, and either put in the fridge to chill or in the freezer if it's hot, and they could do with a cooling treat.

Fun Treat Idea
I posted this treat Idea to the forums, it's not my original idea, I found it on youtube. It is called Hamster cookies, but the fun thing is you can add whatever you like to their fun treat.

This sounds an even better adaptation, I am guess these have to be given sparingly though? Peanut butter is very fatty even for humans!

Yeah, very sparingly. Though I only put the tiniest amount of butter on, just enough that the worms will stick. You could even use a thick fruit yogurt, which would be great when frozen.
And of course, this is only for Syrians and robos. Not suitable for the diabetic prone! :3
