Default Baby food?

i got cow and gate sweet potato bake baby food the ingrediants (40%) are baby-grade veg which are sweet potato, (10%)tomato, peas, carrot, swede, broccoli, oinion thn white beans (24%)cooking water ground rice,apple(5%), corn starch, and rapeseed oil not sure if its suitable for my syrians hamsters.

I agree. It has onion added. I would only feed sloppy food like this if my hamster was very ill or couldn`t eat his normal mix. They don`t need it otherwise.

I wouldn't because of the onion but I'll occasionally feed mine baby food as a treat because it's different flavours and textures to their normal food and they enjoy it. Mine tend to prefer the more savoury foods

same, should avoid the onion but I give mine some as a treat. they don't like the desert ones though, just the pasta and veg stuff

I agree, anything of the onion family (e.g. leeks, garlic, shallots) should be avoided when feeding hammies.

I myself have only tried baby food once, and none of mine liked it. The only wet foods they like is tinned cat food (I use high quality natural ones like Applaws kitten, none of that Whiskas and Felix crap), porridge and this mush I make with budgie seed, dog mixer biscuit, mealworms and banana. These they like and are all safe and nutritious.
