Hi Everyone!! My hamster, Peanut, has been really loving the sunflower seeds in her food lately. I would like to add more to the mix for her, would it be okay if I went to the store and picked up a packet of unsalted sunflower seeds and added it to the mix for her? Just checking before I went out and did it! =) Thanks in advanced.
It is ok to get unsalted sunflower seeds. But I'm not sure to mix with her food. I'd just give her as treat and hand feed her couple of seeds per day and hide around her cage few per week when you do spot clean. As it is fun for her going around and sniffing and foraging them out.
