What to feed her?

Hi all,
I'm all new to being a hamster mummy, and was just wondering what base food would be best to give Sparkle my Syrian hamster and what I should add to it to ensure she has a healthy diet, I will leave her to finish the bag off food I currently have her on as she is used to that and was fed that at the store I got her from, but I'm sure there is better food out there for her so would like to ease her onto food that is better for her once she's got through the current lot of food we have. I have head that Harry hamster is good, is there anything that is missing from it that she needs? I already give her little treats of fruit and am yet to try her on some veg/salad, but other than that is there anything as I have heard a lot about proteins (meal worms etc) but am very new to this and don't want to waste money on the wrong things for her.

Harry hamster is a good mix and it complete so has everything they need although most hamsters won't eat the alfafa in it and you can supplement her diet with small amounts of veg occasionally. When changing mix make sure you do it gradually by putting a small about of the new mix in with the current mix and gradually increase the new food and decrease with the old food as a sudden change could upset her tummy this should take a few weeks. I mix a few supreme science selective biscuits in with all my hamsters mixes as they also love these.

Ok I will do that when she is further down this bag of food, thanks for that tip, I had wondered, I may try that with Sparkle then
