Default Baby food for dwarf hamsters?

I've heard that baby food is good for hamsters. Is this true or should I not feed it to them? Mine have never eaten it before.

It's fine as long as there is no onion etc and with dwarfs you'd probably want a low sugar one too

I wouldn't just give your hamster baby food because you feel like it, its normal nursing mothers or sick hamsters that get it, They will like it but as long as you are feeding a good quality hamster food like burgess dwarf hamster food they are fine with out it, baby food can impact in there pouches, Nice treats are mealworms £1 from pound strechers, also sunflower seeds but not very many as they are fatty.

I'm trying to fatten Ivy and Luna up because they are both really really skinny from old age. I'd stay away from sugar anyway because Ivy is diabetic.

I've given it to all of mine as a treat and they've been absolouetly fine with it. A particular favourite was a cheesy pasta one from boots xxxxx
