If you want something they absolutely love try strawberries. But save the double cream for yourself

That would be the smallest floret you can find to start with and that's enough for one sitting. Don't add anything else to it. Things like that I put in a small pot, specifically the yellow pot in a Hamster Heaven cage. For apple I cut a small slice and wedge it between bars as we do with budgies. zooplus.co.uk have a hanging holder which will hold fruit and veggies. Fresh food about twice a week would be enough i think.

We give Rosy fresh veg regularly, as in every day, yep, really, no, it does not make her stools runny. Every single night she has one 5mm roundel of carrot, a single little small 'tree' of broccoli, ditto for cauliflower (she loves cauli), one roundel of courgette (if we have any) and a small, prob 2x2cm piece of whatever sweet pepper we have. I boil a kettle and pour the water to just cover her food, leave it for about 30 seconds, to get the chill off (because we store veg in the fridge) and just start to blanch, pour the water off, and then just check that its cooled a bit and she munches away. For change we sometimes offer a roundel of corn, or some cucumber, very little of that, or some apple. We've now discovered she likes orange, weird sure, but she does, she also eats small nibbles of cherry tomato, some pasta, not crazy about cheese, she loves egg, in any shape or form (cooked though), some chicken, bout 1x1cm block. We just steer clear from onion, garlic etc, the foods that are poisonous? not good? for them? there is a list on HC, just search for it. Rose also has about a tablesp of Hamster Crispy every day and she also enjoys dog biscuits. She also loves rotastak ham chocs! And she also likes the odd bit o tea! We clean her 'soft/fresh' food store out every day, but her dry food only once a week. She likes to know she has lots of stuff packed for 'a rainy day'. She does not like dried corn/mealies? but she loves air popped popcorn, go figure? Anyway, sorry for long ramble, I only realise now!..
