As long as the nut isn't salted or coated in seasonings, it should be fine.

We give Chewie almonds every now and again and he loves them. They never have shells and are unsalted; we dont give him a ton of almonds. Maybe one or two a month because we try to vary the treats we give him; but he has never had any problems after them.
