What food do you give your hammies?

After reading this i have now changed my hams food from p@h to Harry Hamster, tbh i dont see a big difference in the actual food it self, but hams munch it all th same!And im all for sticking to it if its alot healthier

If so where from? and should i change my hams food from HH to it as they are all dwarfs?

I've been feeding Burgess Supa Hamster - any thoughts on this? It says no molasses or whole oats and it has pieces of banana in it.

The only manufacturer I know who do a mix specifically for dwarfs is the German company 'Bunny'. The food is hard to find but is availble online from Rondello international and from Zooplus I think. We feed ours on Harry but have tried the Bunny dwarf. The bits are a lot smaller than harry and there is a lot of small seeds in the mix. You can supplement Harry with small seeds such as millet, linseed, bulgar wheat, omega mix, lentils, barley etc for your dwarfies too. they like millet sprays

My local hamster breeder who I got my hamster from makes her own mix that lasts months, is really cheap and is loved by my hamster!

i use basic hamster food mix, but as im kinda a newbie im always looking for improvements. i feed him veg and seeds, nuts an raisins too.

also, can you literally feed them baby food. would you just put it into a bowl then let the eat it that way?

Babyfood we put in the plastic lid of a Pringles pack! Make sure you choose one with no onions in it and no citrus fruits! Ours like the Hipp organic ones like the chicken and pasta for example.
