How do i prepare butter nut squash seeds

Hello!

I am making BNS soup and I have seeds left over. I'd like to give them to my Syrian hamster. I've checked the wiki, and squash is safe so I am assuming the seeds are too.

Can I give them raw? Or do I need to toast/bake them?

Also, if you give them, do your hamsters like them?

Hi,
I have fed my Hamster BNS seeds and she really liked them. I washed them well to remove all the stringy bits and spread them out on a clean kitchen towel to dry for a few days.
I mixed them into her normal seed mix.
