oh wow, I am actually quite surprized at that, as imo the US has the best in everything!! I buy stuff from there regularly and get it shipped in, simply cos I like the stuff better. For example, I refuse to buy dog leashes from the UK as for some reason, they are a standard 40" long, which to me is far, far too short, so I pay extra to import the 6ft ones instead. I would love to live in the US, but don't think I could practically take 2 dogs, 2 rabbits, 4 rats, 3 hamster and 3 gerbils with me very easily!
my sister has to get everything to fit her black pug from the USA, for some reason all the uk stuff just doesn't fit her? xxx

What species of dwarfies?

It might end up you needing to work on your fear/hate so your hams can get a decent diet though

The best commercial food is Harry Hamster for hamsters lol & Gerri Gerbil food for Gerbils lol.

They have the correct % & can be brought in shops or on line.

My Hamster mix's also have the correct % you can buy them on line at Ratrations Hamster Mixtures : ratRations.com.

I am at the moment testing Gerbil mix's which will go on Ratrations at some point

Gerbil mixes!!! *cannot contain excitement* I mix my own rat food and the hamsters all love your mix, I feel bad that my poor gerbil is the only one who won't clear hos bowl!

Why not buy Silvers mixes? Postage is expensive but works out cheaper in the long run considering how cheap the actual mixes are. 90p worth of Syrian food lasts a long, long time.

The postage is really pricey on RR for some reason. paying 90p for a bag of food but £5+ for postage is a tad expensive. But the main reason is, and I know it is a silly reason, but there is mealworms in it and I can't stand them! They're gross and squick me out! S'why I don't feed supahamster harvest either. Also, I dont' think I can feed it to the gerbils, but I'm not 100% on that one.

To sell more bags of food. It's a profit making comapny.

Neither of them will be the correct % for both species as the % they both need are very different from each other in my other post.

The only commercial food that has the correct % are Harry Hamster, Gerri Gerbil or my hamster food.

Have you got Syrians or Dwarfs?

The Syrian mix's have no meal worms in.

And you are right you can not feed my Syrian mix's to Gerbils

Could you buy harry hamster in bulk? We got £15kg a while ago. Cost us under £25 and worked out cheaper than buying the 850g bags locally.

Are your Dwarfs pure, did they come from a pet shop?

Need that answer to tell you if you can buy the Syrian mix for the dwarfs.

I reckon them getting a proper diet is more important than your fear

Not sure how good HH is for diabetes prone hams... Actually no idea if there are any sugar free ham foods on the market... Silver will know

Hope you find a good food soon hon
