I've been trying some treats on my girl but she really does not seem interested in anything! WH, have you found that Tik Toc has been very distant since you got him? I don't know whether to worry for mine or not as since bringing her home she has climbed under her log bridge and hasn't come out on her own, she will sit for hours under there with her eyes wide open in the same spot stone still as if she were asleep. I've handled her twice and its the same behaviour, she will just sit on my lap stone still, eyes wide for the entire time.

I wouldn't worry Erin, she will be very nervy at the moment. Boys tend to be a little calmer when handled, Bacardi was very good to handle when i had him. But he was distant when in the cage, even now he likes to keep himself to himself a lot of the time.
I would just give her time to adjust to being in a new place with all sorts of new experiences x

@ Erin.. we don't see him much as he's still quite shy.. He's very active once we get him out and has nipped Mr WH.. He has had a little run in his wheel and chewed his lizard.. we are sure we saw him washing his tail too..

He does have his faraway moments and just stares....

Maybe I'm worrying too much then Mine has nipped me several times now and she has shown a few bursts of energy when being handled and has also had several long washes while being handled but she has yet to discover any of the toys in her cage including her wheel. I don't think she has eaten anything yet either. Gah owning a new species always throws me
