Re: opinions on p@h museli do your hams like it?
Hello msalisoncarroll,
I like you did not like the rubbish commercial hamster mix's so I did something about it. I took 12 months to research all the seeds/grains/pulses/nuts/fish/meal worms that hamsters can eat & made some Dwarf Hamster & Syrian hamster food. I had the mix's analysed & they have the correct balance of Protein/fat/fibre for the hamster.
You can buy them online here Hamster Mixtures : ratRations.com.
You can find out what other people think of my mix's in the Nutrition section. I am not getting anything for the sale of the mix's so I have not told you about this for my benefit

the waggs food is rubbish have a bag of it coz thats what poppet was on when i got her but i was like you trying to slowly add silvers mix but she would only eat silvers mix! so i gave in and got rid of the wagg stuff i made sure her tummy was ok and she is fine ......i was still giving swede it as she was still eatng bits and i was slightly reluctant to just switch as she is only a baby, however today i when to get some out of my air tight container and it was crawling with maggots!!!! no idea where they came from but like i say i had it in an air tight container t was yuck!!!!! also the wagg food is advertised for hamsters mice and gerbils!!! so definately not nutritionally balanced xx

sorry silver i meant to say that my other Syrians are on your mixes and the dwarfs your basic mix (meal worm heaven)!!
i meant to say as she is now REFUSING to eat the p@h rubbish, should i continue to add small amounts of your mix to the p@h rubbish or switch her over completely?
i def will not buy wagg, so far i am not impressed with what i've heard! x

Re: opinions on p@h museli do your hams like it?
I have never tried Wagg food. I got a bag of the P@H food when I bought a mini duna, same time as Squeak, and since Squeak had been eating it I mixed it in with Harry hamster food. Now she's on Silvers mix, and she really likes it. The puffed bits go down at a rate of knots.
Thank you Silver you guru of hammie nutrition
