Re: New dwarf hamster mix's
Awesome, with currently 5 dwarf hams on your mix them being cheaper is great
We may be unable to put the other two back on them though, is a chance Scruff is allergic to something in there. We haven't confirmed it yet but its looking likely. If it was the mix then we'll probably test our theory it was the krill and if it was... The no fish couldn't have come at a better time
Will have to wait and see though, it may be that the mix wasn't the issue or that she needs to stay off it completely. Time'll tell really.

Re: New dwarf hamster mix's
Will do, but we're not even sure its the mix yet.
Won't be able to do her drops as much as usual next weekend so hopefully will get some idea after next Saturday.

Re: New dwarf hamster mix's
Yes lets hope so.
If you did find it was something in the mix & could track down what it is I could make a mix for Scruff without what she is allergic to, or like you said the new mix's might do that anyway.

Re: New dwarf hamster mix's
Thanks
Its great that we may be able to feed her your mixes anyway. If it was one of the robos I'd not mind too much, but the hybrids're the reason we decided to change to your mix so it'd be a bit gutting if two of them couldn't eat it after all.
Its great that you want to be so helpful and it is really appreciated

Re: New dwarf hamster mix's
Just to say I had a little sample sent to me from RR of the new Dwarf hamster ~ Basic With No Fish. This is the first mix I have seen with the added Soya Flakes. I am really pleased with it. I hoped it would not take from the smaller seeds but it does not.
I gave it to both my hams & they wolfed it down, even though they are both poorly. What is also great news is this one can be fed to all dwarfs including the diabetes prone, so there will be the new mix with Soya & fish & this one with no fish.

Re: New dwarf hamster mix's
Very neat! I use the river shrimp as a treat for my dwarf sometimes based on a recommendation by you I think?, in an older post. Even though I can't order your mixes (yet! right? ) I quite enjoy reading about your progress and changes! I'm a Silver Mix Fan girl.... Siiiilver! can you sign my hamster bowl? haha!
