I bumped my email I sent two days ago to see if I could get a reply before the weekend & it worked. I got a responce....

When we consider a private label and/or distribution partnership we first need to evaluate the product proposal and business potentials to see if it fits within our model. I would be happy to review this project for you if you are willing to share information on your formulation and anticipated sales volume. If you would be more comfortable disclosing this information only after a non-disclosure agreement is in place, that is fine. Please forward document and I will review/sign so that we can continue our conversation.

I've sent it in the email. Oh dear I hope that is good enough!. I put the company & my name on it. No idea if it will stand up if they did copy the mix's.

How longs a piece of string really is the answer to how many sales do you think you will make???????. I thought of a number & doubled it!

You should really target it as "Healthy", "Well balanced", "Better Quality"
I know you would sell a lot because you can really push it as "The Healthier Option for Your Hamster" and anyone with half a brain would buy it as long as it didn't cost too much.
It all sounds quite positive and if you get to a packaging stage (fingers crossed), talk about whites and greens and a bit of red (an appetite stimulant in humans) because they are what I'd look for when buying a hamster food, not these stupid snazzy, bright packets with pictures of hamsters saying stuff on them (tut tut P@H), and it would promote the fact that your hamster food was a little bit classier, but still good.
