Default 3am snack!

I read on the safe foods list that it's ok for hamsters to have toast as a treat. I'm assuming this means without butter. Anyway for some unknown reason I'm awake and have been since 3am so I thought I'd make some toast as I was hungry. I gave Belle some of the crust and she seemed to enjoy it. She's just run off with the rest of it to eat it in her bed. Though I've just realized it may have had some marigine on it. Not much though. I'm now worried about it ... It would've bed the smallest amount as I never put the butter to the crusts as I never eat my crusts!

I give my hams a bit of toast crust ever now and again and they enjoy it

I would say just to keep an eye on her, and make sure her poos are ok over the next couple of days. If there are plenty and they are solid then it hadn't done her any harm
