Default Would Anyone Be Interested In A Syrian Mix?

Hello Everyone

I have bowed down to people wanting me to make a Syrian Hamaster Mix. The mix's will be in the same vain as my Dwarf mix's, with Seeds/grains/nuts/egg. In the Syrian Mix's there will be bigger bits. Will have no filler like grass pellets & hopefully the mix will also be eaten & no bits left.

Well I have no idea on how long this will take me as the Dwarf mix's too 9 months . But should hopefully be quicker than that as I have learnt a lot since then.

The mix's will also be sold on Ratrations.

I certainly would be interested, Pheobe is a funny one and although she will eat most of the harry hamster if I dont give her anything else, she doesnt seem to like all the coloured round biscuits, she goes for the corn, pea flakes and strangely even alfala over them. I worry that she is not getting all the nutrients she needs. I have tried other mixes that have more fruit and veg in but I am worried about the amount of sugar in them, especially with her kidney/ bladder problems. I look forward to seeing how your mix turns out

I'm definately interested, little bits of food are always being left (mostly the fillers..) so a homemade mix should be much better :] Even though they already get a mix of 2 different foods and a bunch of stuff mixed in.. i don't really think its good enough

Hi Silver,

I would definitely be interested. In fact I was looking at your dwarf mix on Ratrations and wanted to ask you if any of them would be suitable for my Syrian in the meantime? She's on Wagg at the minute which I've not heard of anyone else mention using, so I'm guessing it's not the best. Also a LOT of waste. Thanks

Hello Rudi,

Thank You,

A few Syrians are on my Mix No3, this is the better one for Syrians as it has the Kibble in it which is bigger bits. My Syrian mix's will have this in also. The main difference between Dwarf mix No3 & Syrian Mix will be bigger bits, like instead of peanut granuals it will have whole peanuts.

Please let me know how you get on with it
