i'm happy on my mix sorry, but i think syrians are really mixed on mealworms - Mona LOVED them, i mean scrambled through her mix to find them and everything, pepper throws them out of his cage though, (which as its next to our bed makes me ever so grateful he lives on hubby's side ).

They are all different aren't they. The new Syrian mix's I'm making have no mealworms in them, it's the dwarf mix's that have them in.

Oh that's good then, cos even though I hated them I was willing to put up with them so I could give him the mix, but clearly he's not fussed so I will be pleased to buy one without!

Yes Sorry my bad if I didn't explain that bit, some Syrians love them & some don't & as the thought behind the mix's is that it all gets eaten then the mealworms are being left out.

Hopefully the mix's will make there way to the lady to start testing this week. There has been a hold up because Ratrations was going to a big show.

Am really looking forward to see how this mix goes. My two are on Supahamster harvest at the moment and I'm always looking for other higher quality mixes to mix into it to create a much larger nutritional meal.

I know i said before i would use yours but had to change plans due to some fussy pains in the rear end hams! i should be up for a syrian one, and keep my dwarfs and fussy monsters on their pellets. I was going to order the biggest bag possible of the mix 3, but can keep going with science pellets till syrian mix is done
i still think its great how you make these special mixes to have the best things in for the hams such a lovely thing to do!

AWWWWW

Thank You Vanilla That is a lovely thing to say. I just fell totally in love with all the dwarfs & due to my heath can not breed them, but wanted to do something for them. And My Mandy was the reason why I started to research food for Diabetes prone hammy's like Mandy being a hybrid pet shop girl.

She is now 2 years & two months on the 19th of this month. She is totally blind now & looks like a older lady, but she is still going strong. I have no idea if it is because I got great advice from forums when I brought her home about feeding a sugar free diet or it's just luck. But what ever it is long may it continue lol
