lol thats really made me laugh, but poor cat...
One of our hams went nose to nose with one of my parents rottweilers a while ago. Was through cage bars with said rottie being well restrained though. We were amazed that the two just happily sniffed. Sounds like the dog got off lightly now! Although the other rottie also got off well - he discovered a robo cage while that was going on lol (He was also restrained too, we had 3 people for the 2 dogs)

Re: Strangest thing your hamsters eaten?
Gloria used to go wild for the smell of tuna noodle casserole... she was such a begger for table food
Astrid has adopted Gloria and Sandy's habit for going after fine jewellery, my engagement ring, my earrings my parents gave me for my 21st birthday, my pendant from Mr. Wiz But they're never interested in silver or semiprecious, only gold and gemstones!
Oh and alcohol, Gloria used to try to get at my wine glass if I was sipping after dinner. Sandy liked the smell of Bourban and Astrid will lick my lips if I smell like wine!

I caught Gremlin with his head in a tipped over can of Diet Irn Bru yesterday! He doesn't really eat anything weird though. Pixie used to try nibble my hair

What Dinah was doing when I fondly assumed she was snuggling into my hip. Not content with chewing a hamster-sized hole in my favourite warm (80% wool) cardigan, she then progressed to the leather sofa . . .

Re: Strangest thing your hamsters eaten?
Oh don't, George has eaten a massive hole in the sofa, and if he hadn't been poorly would totally be in disgrace

Re: Strangest thing your hamsters eaten?
I hid it from my OH for about a week and then pretended when he spotted it that I had no idea how it had happened
