We can't eat raw potato either

About the milk, i remember seeing that it is ok on rare occasions and i was also advised that soy milk should be used over other milk, my hammies never minded it.

about the herbs, many herbs are toxic to us humans in large quantities, so maybe be cautionary. However, many of the foods/treats from P@H have herbs in don't they? Like basil. Parsley is also ok, otherwise surely they wouldnt sell Dental Chew n Treat with Alfalfa and Parsley Stuffing by Petbrands | Pets at Home

also, things like parsnips, do these need to be cooked or can they be eaten raw? (or is it the same as potatoes?)

Oh I didn't realise the flowers of dandelions were safe! I knew the leaves were, I had the hamsters out in the garden run yesterday and they were pulling up and munching on the leaves but I always freak out when they go to eat the flower! Well I know for the future now

Has anyone actually given their hams acorns? I was going to sometime but read something online about it being toxic.

Hi. I noticed brown rice on the list, but can they also eat white rice? (Have just cooked a batch for dinner tonight)

Yes we often give ours a teaspoon of rice as a change.
