Default Water and Diet?

My 25 month old dwarf hamster gets some Harry Hamster mix (I only give her the peanuts and sunflower seeds selectively) daily, alongside with either a whole fine bean, a bit of carrot, some broccoli or something else (being a Campbell's dwarf, hardly ever fruit). She is very fit for her age and has never had diarrhea, so is it okay to be giving her fresh veg daily? She's had it all her life and anticipates it every morning.

Also, she literally never drinks from her water bottle. It is new and clean, and I try to get her to by putting bits of carrot in the nozzle, but she just doesn't drink. She used to drink a bit a few months ago, so knows how to. She is not dehydrated, so would she be getting enough water from her daily vegetables? She loves, however, to like water off my finger. I assume she does this because she likes to, not because she's really thirsty?

Thanks

It sounds fine as long as its only a small piece daily
Hamsters don't need much water, so she probably is getting all her water from the veg x

Unless you watch her every moment of every day you wont know if she drinks - even if you marked the bottle wouldnt ensure you noticed if she drank a mm of water.

Like fluffy said, hamsters dont need much water and the veg will provide it. I wouldnt worry

I give Toffee a small piece of veg every day. If you've been doing this for a while, she should be used to it and it shouldn't cause any problems. Large amounts could cause tummy problems, though.

It's very unlikely that you would notice the water level dropping in her bottle. Hammies drink such a small amount that you really can't tell that they've drunk anything.
