Re: Would Anyone Be Interested?
Well I would email Ratrations because they have said in the past that they do not send to the U.S because customs were destroying the box's.
But when I asked again for someone else they said that they will post to anywhere in the world as long as the customer knows this could happen & it would be at the customers risk.
I have a Big hamster food company looking into one of my Dwarf hamster mix's. They are seeing if it would be commercially viable. If it is & they want to take my mix on then it would be branded under there company & sold abroad as well as the U.k & they do sell hamster food in the U.S.
But we will have to wait & see what the company thinks.

Re: Would Anyone Be Interested?
Silver, I have discovered why Darla had stopped pouching all his food...
It was because he didn't need to! Seriously, this is the largest store I've ever seen him have

Re: Would Anyone Be Interested?
LOL ok sold to Kiania lol.
I guess its a case of being able to source the ingredients & be able to market it at a price the public want to pay for a bag of Dwarf Hamster Mix & for the big hamster food company to make enough profit from the sales.
It has nearly been 4 weeks now so I'm starting to get itchy feet!

Re: Would Anyone Be Interested?
Well, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all dwarf hams everywhere. You'd think P@H would want it to sell along-side their diabetic prone hybrids, hmm?
But yes, I want a food I can recommend to people (easily). Don't make me buy in bulk and then re-bag your food from RR - because that is my current there-is-no-other-way plan

Re: Would Anyone Be Interested?
I found a P@H member of staff that knows some hams are diabetic earlier, that might be a good start to convincing stores lol
And yeah, preferring the food to ham treats is definetly quite a reccomendation from Muffin lol

Re: Would Anyone Be Interested?
That's good news that as least some pets@home staff know about diabetes prone Dwarfs. Lets hope it carries on

Re: Would Anyone Be Interested?
Sad news.
the big hamster food company has looked into the commercial viability & they have said it will not be viable cost prohibited on a large scale commercial basis.
And sourcing a regular & constant supply in some of these raw ingredients may also lead to its own challenges.
